Veterinary Business Manager

Job Description

OverviewVeterinary Business Manager - FTC 18 months. Field based with a territory that includes Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, Southport, and Oswestry. Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 base plus personal and company performance bonus up to 20%. Benefits include a company car and opportunities to engage with pet professionals and enthusiasts at 2-3 key industry events per year (some weekend work involved).

What are we looking for?

Sales Enthusiasm: Proven sales experience or a strong desire to learn and achieve.

Nutritional Savvy: Confidence in understanding and presenting nutritional information.

Skills: Strong presentation, communication and IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to support effective sales analysis and management of the territory.

Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required.

Direct Experience: In related companies or working within the veterinary industry preferable.

Key responsibilities

Ignite Growth: Achieve sales goals by utilizing strong selling skills to meet the needs of veterinary clinics.

Build Relationships: Develop and nurture partnerships with key clinic individuals, identifying opportunities to recommend premium therapeutic diets.

Educate: Educate veterinary staff on nutrition using expert product knowledge and available training tools.

Collaborate and Innovate: Work with the team and provide customer insights to shape strategies that benefit clinics and pet owners.

Engage and Educate: Participate in trade shows and conferences, delivering training on nutritional benefits.

Stay Organized: Manage weekly reporting and activity logs, including pre-call planning and delivery of sales coverage objectives.
