Site Construction Manager UK Various Project Locations Salary Depending on Experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Construction Manager to join a growing engineering business delivering complex projects across the power generation and industrial sectors. This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in dynamic site environments, leading teams and subcontractors, solving problems and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. Site Construction Manager Roles and Responsibilities: Plan, organise and manage day-to-day site construction activities. Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet business objectives. Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials, equipment and resources. Carry out site surveys and detailed equipment/condition assessments. Lead and manage on-site teams and subcontractors. Monitor workmanship and material quality throughout projects. Complete risk assessments and ensure safety documentation is in place. Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and relevant HandS standards. Conduct site inspections and address safety concerns. Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams. Identify and resolve site issues to keep projects on track. Provide project updates and maintain accurate site documentation. Record and report safety audits, incidents and corrective actions. Support budget control and effective resource allocation.
