Senior Service Desk Engineer - 2nd LineSalary: Up to £35,000 per annumLocation: South TynesideMy client, based in South Tyneside, is My client is a rapidly growing IT business, who provide a managed service solution to organisations across the UK.Due to their continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Service Desk Engineer (2nd Line), with a particular focus on Networking capabilities.The RoleAct as the second line of support for IT issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, escalating when requiredManage user accounts and access rights in Microsoft 365 and Active DirectoryProvide support across SharePoint, including setting up permissionsConfigure and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devicesKeep tickets updated and resolved in line with SLAsAssist with IT projects, rollouts, and system improvementsThe PersonProven experience in an IT support or service desk role, specifically within an IT Managed Services environmentStrong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active DirectoryHolder of a current Microsoft certification (365, Azure etc.)Strong knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP) and router/firewall configurationHold an up-to-date CompTIA N+ certificate (essential)Hold an up-to-date CompTIA A+ certificate (desired)Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsCustomer-focused with strong communication skillsHold a full driving licence and own vehicle, and willing to travel to client ..... full job details .....
