Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager

As the-Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager,-you will lead the engineering services across a complex environment,-ensuring safe, compliant and high-performing estates delivery.

The-Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager-will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage engineering maintenance and estates services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and HTMs/HBNs
• Oversee PPM, lifecycle planning and risk management to minimise disruption to clinical operations
• Act as Authorised Person / Lead Authorised Person and ensure safe systems of work are followed
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and external partners
• Drive performance, continuous improvement and value for money across engineering services

To be successful for this Senior Engineering Manager-role you must have:

• Relevant engineering/FM qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM or equivalent)
• Significant experience in a senior technical leadership role within FM or healthcare environments
• Strong knowledge of compliance, engineering standards and safe systems of work
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong understanding of healthcare estates, PFI contracts and statutory compliance
