We are looking for a dedicated, commercially minded, and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead the team with support of the Company Director and experienced nominated individual. This is a multi-faceted cross business role as the post holder will also be the head of Clinical Services looking after the Care Inspectorate Scotland.About us

Registered Manager
- The registered Manager has the legal responsibility for the service and can of course be held accountableThe Registered Manager is in day-to-day charge of one or more regulated activitiesWhere the registered manager is also a clinical lead they also provide clinical leadership and guidance to the businessThe manager has joint legal responsibility with the provider for ensuring compliance with the regulationsTo be responsible for the level of care your organisation and employees provide a high-level of careOverseeing and having full oversight of the running of a care service, including governance and sales processManaging staff so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their abilityAlthough the registered manager may not directly line manage all staff, they should oversee every function and ensure alignment with CQC expectationsMaking strategic decisions about the future and growth of the care serviceLeading on specific projects or clinical areas, for example setting up a new care service or division unless another registered manager is soughtAllocate resources and monitor performance to ensure high quality service deliveryIn partnership with the Business Development Manager, achieve the occupancy forecast for the serviceResponsible for ensuring all statutory notifications are made to the CQCUndertaking mandatory and company clinical auditsUnderstand and implement the company Health and Safety Policy, and Emergency and Fire proceduresCarry out duties as "Responsible Officer" for the Service in accordance with regulatory guidelines, the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and Fire RegulationsResolve issues around faulty appliances, damaged furniture, equipment or hazards and ensure corrective actionImplement practices that support compliance with infection prevention and control and food hygiene/environmental health regulationsMaintain full and accurate records and reporting systemsWork with Head of Governance to implement quality management and improvement systemsEnsure all staff adhere to Policies and ProceduresManage complaints, compliments and incidents, undertaking investigations and using findings for continuous improvementBe prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the serviceProvide high quality service provisionDevelop and implement actions to achieve agreed targets within identified timescalesOperate systems for collecting key performance data for the ServiceApply excellent communication skills with Clients, families, staff and health and social care professionalsKeep all information about Clients and their families secure and confidentialDevelop and embed clinical support practices at the forefront of best practiceIdentify and manage service challenges and develop action plans within agreed timescalesQualifications
EssentialClinical background and experience, ideally RMN or RNLD / associated health professional with a mental health backgroundA minimum level 5 Health and Social Care management/leadership qualification - e.g. QCF Level 5Experience in residential/supported living with supervisory responsibilities, supporting adults with learning disabilitiesStrong commercial and business acumen with proven experienceKnowledge of current legislation including Health and Social Care Act (2008) and experience in reviewing and monitoring service deliveryKnowledge of Safeguarding, MHA, DOLs, MCA and regulatory frameworksHolding a clean and valid UK Driving License is a requirementDesirable
Understanding and experience with CQC inspection framework and regulationsExperience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours including mental healthA minimum of 2 of the last 5 years in adults care sector in a similar roleRegistration as Registered Person under the Health and Social Care Act (2008)Other relevant professional memberships or qualificationsCompliance
