Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: DaventrySalary: 42,000Quality Engineer required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The successful candidate will ideally have an automotive background within quality engineering/ assurance and be local to their site in Daventry.Quality Engineer Position OverviewSupport the management of all quality-related issues within the manufacturing and Goods Receiving teams (e.g. internal, supplier, customer and customer warranty)Be instrumental in the identification of defect root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues.Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards.Carry out/ assist personnel with product and process audits.Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented and maintained.Stop production in the event of unacceptable goods/processes, identify the resolution actions needed in order to re-start production.Ensure all quality activities and processes are conducted in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements.Quality Engineer Position RequirementsWorking knowledge of IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirementsMembership of an industry related Professional Body would be advantageousExperience of working in or with Quality AssuranceUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and production environmentsQuality Engineer Position ..... full job details .....
