Mental Health Transport Assistant (Leeds)

Mental Health Transport AssistantLocation: Leeds, LS8 3LG (Oaktree House, 408 Oakwood Lane).
Contract: Full-time, 42.1 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern (12 hour shifts; day, night and weekend work).
Responsibilities
To support and transport vulnerable service users as part of a team.
To be able to attend the office within one hour during on-call shifts
Maintain Enhanced DBS (organised and paid for during Induction)
To provide a professional and caring service for all patients whilst in our care.
To ensure that at all times patient safety remains paramount, and safe systems of work are adhered to
To support the care of patients during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act
Safe use of Company vehicles and equipment, preparing required patient paperwork and driving to local and national locations
Qualifications
Full UK Manual Driving Licence held for a minimum of 1 year
Age over 21 due to the company''s insurance
Passion for working in a fast-paced environment
Able to reliably adapt and work well under pressure
Good written and verbal communication skills
Enhanced DBS certificate within the last 3 years (preferred)
RemunerationBlended rate of £12.88 per hour (Day, Night and Weekend Shifts). Annual remuneration from £28,280.10 based on expected hours. Over-runs paid at £22 per hour. Enhanced pay of £1.20 extra per hour for work at a Mental Health place of safety and bed watch activities, supporting ward staff. Shift pay enhancements are available for some call-in or overtime shifts, additional £1.75 per hour. Further information will be discussed during the interview process.

Background and ExperienceEssential
Full Manual UK Driving licence. UK driving experience for at least 1 year
