Join our Team as a Mental Health Support Worker! If you want to make a positive impact on people’s lives, join one of our friendly Intermediate Hostel Teams. You will provide a flexible, supportive and responsive service to people who have a history of mental ill health and distress.
You will be passionate, inspirational, open minded and most importantly you will be yourself. Responsibilities / What you’ll doAs a Mental Health Support Worker, provide a flexible, supportive and responsive service to people with a history of mental ill health and distress. Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for clients.
Requirements
Experience of building and maintaining positive working relationships
Great interpersonal skills including listening and empathy
Experience of providing support in a 1:1 and/or group work setting
The flexibility to participate in a 24/7 rota which includes sleep-in shifts
