Health and Safety Manager Location: Glasgow Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience Contract: Permanent Full-Time Travel: UK and European Remit The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of an established international organisation seeking an experienced and commercially minded Health and Safety Manager to take ownership of its health and safety function across UK and European operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior HandS professional looking to take on a business-wide leadership position, with responsibility for developing strategy, driving compliance and improving health and safety standards across multiple locations. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement, working closely with Directors, senior management and operational teams. Based preferably in Glasgow, the position involves regular UK travel and some involvement in European operations. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the organisation''s HandS strategy, policies, procedures and management systems. Develop and implement HandS objectives, driving continuous improvement across the business. Provide expert health and safety advice to Directors, senior management and operational teams. Oversee compliance across multiple locations, including internal audits, risk assessments and assurance activities.
