Health and Safety Business Partner

Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering our client who are one of the biggest civil Infrastructure businesses in the UK. Our client is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to play a key role within our Health, Safety team, supporting our civil Engineering and infrastructure contracts within Scotland. This is a hands-on, site-based opportunity where you ll work closely with operational teams who value practical support and strong safety leadership. You ll have the autonomy to make a visible difference across major infrastructure sector contracts, providing practical advice, promoting safe working practices and helping to drive continuous improvement. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your experience, influence how work is delivered and continue developing your career within a varied operational environment. This is a wide-ranging regional role, with most activity centred around the central belt and east coast of Scotland. Duties: • Carrying out site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations. • Providing practical Health, Safety and Wellbeing advice to colleagues at all levels. • Working with operational teams to deliver safety objectives and embed best practice. • Supporting accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending improvements. • Providing Health and Safety input into tenders, bids and operational planning. • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and performance. • ..... full job details .....
