About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work in a mainstream secondary school in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, whether you are considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support to students where required, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
• Uphold school policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work or similar).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
• A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.
