Overview

The Clinical Lead will work closely with the Care Group and other clinical leads, taking the lead for all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology to support the delivery of the clinical and operational aspects of the Trust''s strategy and the NHS Operating Framework.As the Clinical Lead for the service, the post holder will be jointly responsible for ensuring that the service operates within the Trust''s overall objectives and policies, and within objectives, targets, quality standards and financial controls, to support the achievement of the WHH care group level objectives.Please note that if you require a Certificate of Sponsorship to work in the UK you must declare this on your application form. We sponsor candidates on a Skilled Worker Visa for roles Band 5 and above.We also offer relocation support where eligible, up to 32 days of annual leave, and active support for study, quality improvement and patient safety work as part of our improvement journey and medical education and research.Responsibilities

Provide leadership and management in collaboration with the William Harvey Care Group and Network Leads, with shared responsibility for operational performance, clinical quality, safety and financial management of the service.Ensure a positive patient and staff experience, backed by a robust governance process for leading and continuously improving services.Lead all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology to support delivery of the clinical and operational elements of the Trust''s strategy and the NHS Operating Framework.Work to ensure the service operates within the Trust''s objectives, policies, targets, quality standards and financial controls, supporting care group objectives.Additional information for applicants
