Class 2 HGV Hiab Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our team. You must have Hiab experience and Class 2 driving experience. Current Street works card preferred but training given. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of vehicle operation, and the ability to navigate various routes. You will be working out of Torquay branch but own transport is essential due to location. You will need to be clean shaven/goatee (max) on commencement of this role due to health and safety regulations. You will undertake regular training in a classroom environment including Shea gas training. Clam shell training will also be given. The role is ongoing and for the right candidate lead to a temp to perm position. Min 37.5 hours Monday to Friday will O/T available. (usually 45 hours) 18.34 per hour Duties Operate a lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Use a Hiab to load/unload vehicle Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met. Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and deliveries made.
