HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Wagon & Drag Driver - RoRo
We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Wagon & Drag Drivers to join our client based in Gravesend. This role involves roll-on roll-off (RoRo) work and offers consistent hours, competitive pay and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities for HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Operating Class 1 wagon & drag vehicles
• Carrying out roll-on roll-off (RoRo) work safely and efficiently
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
• Adhering to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company procedures
• Maintaining a high standard of professionalism when representing the company

Requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 1 year’s experience driving:
• Wagon & Drag
• Ro Ro (Roll-on Roll-off)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Pay & Benefits for HGV Class 1 Driver:

• £17 per hour (standard rate)
• £20 per hour overtime (after 50 hours and Saturdays)
• Average 50-hour work week
• Saturday shifts: every other weekend
• Christmas bonus
