Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a specialist all-through SEMH school in Blaby (LE8), to appoint a dedicated and resilient Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The academy supports pupils aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, delivering a tailored curriculum designed to develop confident, resilient learners who are well-prepared for life beyond school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs (Primary or Secondary phase)
• Build strong, trusting relationships to support behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
• Implement consistent behaviour strategies in line with the school''s therapeutic approach
• Adapt curriculum delivery to meet individual needs, including EHCP targets
• Monitor and track pupil progress, supporting both academic and personal development
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external agencies

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or pupils with behavioural needs is highly desirable
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve positive outcomes
• A proactive team player committed to continuous improvement
