Care Home Chef 30-Bed Care Home Totnes, DevonCare Home Chef Full Time 30-Bed Care Home AV2076Location: Totnes, Devon AV2038A Hours: 40 hours per week Pay: £16.00 per hour (£26,832 per annum) Shift: 8am 6pm Working Pattern: 4 days per weekAbout the RoleWe are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Care Home Chef to join a welcoming 30-bed residential care home in the beautiful Totnes area of Devon.The home provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents, with a strong focus on dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.As a Care Home Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, appetising and well-presented meals for residents, ensuring that all dietary, nutritional and food safety requirements are met.Working 40 hours per week across 4 days, with shifts from 8am 6pm, you will be responsible for planning and preparing meals, catering for individual dietary requirements and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.A good understanding and practical knowledge of IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) is essential, along with a strong understanding of SFBB (Safer Food, Better Business) procedures.You will become an important part of a dedicated team, helping to ensure residents receive high-quality meals that support their health, wellbeing and enjoyment.About the Home 30-bed residential care homeLocated in Totnes, DevonWarm and welcoming environmentStrong focus on residents'' comfort and wellbeingSupportive and ..... full job details .....
