The home is situated in beautiful surroundings on a golf course, providing a peaceful and attractive environment for residents and staff. As a Care Home Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, appetising and well-presented meals for residents, while ensuring all dietary, nutritional and food safety requirements are met. Working 40 hours per week across 4 days, with shifts from 8am-6pm, you will be responsible for planning and preparing meals, catering for individual dietary requirements and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety. A good understanding and practical knowledge of IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) is essential, along with a strong understanding of SFBB (Safer Food, Better Business) procedures. You will become an important part of a dedicated team, helping to ensure residents receive high-quality meals that support their health, wellbeing and enjoyment.
