Applications Support Analyst

OverviewAs an Applications Support Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining our business applications. You’ll deliver first- and second-line support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft 365, while also contributing to the design and delivery of Power Platform solutions including PowerApps and Power BI.
You’ll work closely with business users, project teams, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, support system changes and upgrades, and contribute to process improvements through smart use of technology.

Responsibilities
Be the ‘Go-To’ person for users who need support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating to external providers when necessary.
Configure, test, and support the deployment of system updates and new features aligned to business needs.
Support the enhancement of PowerApps and Power BI solutions to deliver insights and improve user experience.
Work with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions that add real value.
Provide guidance and training to users, ensuring efficient use of systems and encouraging adoption of new features.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to projects and automation efforts.
RequirementsYou’ll have hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ideally across multiple functional areas beyond Finance, and be confident supporting Microsoft 365 tools.
Familiarity with PowerApps and Power BI, with the ability to support and enhance existing apps and dashboards.
A good understanding of business processes in finance, operations, or supply chain.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience with other Dynamics 365 modules such as Field Service.
Knowledge of Power Automate, SQL or other data querying tools.
Previous exposure to ITIL-based environments or service management processes.
Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or professional services setting.
A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and grow are key to success in this role.
