Role: 2nd Line IT Support Engineer (MSP)Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Up to £35,000Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider looking for a capable and customer-focused 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join the technical team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working across multiple client environments, and stepping up when things get complex. What you''ll be doing Providing 2nd line support to a wide range of MSP clientsTroubleshooting escalated issues from 1st line across desktop, server, and network environmentsManaging and resolving incidents and service requests via the ticketing systemSupporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD)Diagnosing and resolving Windows Server and Active Directory issuesAssisting with onboarding/offboarding of users and devicesSupporting backups, antivirus, patching, and monitoring toolsContributing to documentation and knowledge base articlesWorking closely with 3rd line engineers on complex issues and projects What we''re looking for Previous experience in a 2nd line support role within an MSP (or similar fast-paced environment)Strong knowledge of:Windows 10/11 and Windows ServerActive Directory and Group PolicyMicrosoft 365 and Azure ADNetworking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs)Experience with RMM and ticketing systemsExcellent troubleshooting and customer service skillsAbility to manage workload and prioritise tickets effectively Nice to ..... full job details .....
