The successful candidate will be required to work within a Year 2 classroom on a long-term, full-time basis, providing consistent support to pupils and working closely alongside the class teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children''s learning and development and is looking for a stable, long-term position within a primary school environment. The Role As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging lessons and ensure that all pupils receive the appropriate support to make progress. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils across the Year 2 curriculum, including English and Mathematics.Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups where required.Supporting pupils with reading, phonics, writing and numeracy activities.Helping pupils to remain focused, engaged and motivated during lessons.Supporting children who need additional support including emotional and behavioural support.
