Welder Fabricator

CDM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder on behalf of our client for an immediate start. This role is initially being offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for the assignment to be extended depending on business requirements. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of workshop-based fabrication and maintenance projects, producing high-quality fabricated components and structures to customer specifications. Key Duties: General fabrication and welding duties. MIG welding of mild steel components. Occasional TIG welding work as required. Fabrication of manifolds, pipework assemblies and bespoke fabrications. Manufacture and repair of handrails, stillages and general workshop equipment. Maintenance fabrication and modification work. Working from engineering drawings and fabrication sketches. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety. Requirements: Previous experience in a fabrication and welding role. Competent MIG welder with the ability to fabricate from drawings. TIG welding experience beneficial. Experience manufacturing structural and bespoke fabricated products. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
