UX/UI Designer - Housing Repairs - Local Authority

My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented UX/UI Designer for Housing Repairs on a Contract basis. The role will play a key role in designing intuitive, accessible and visually engaging experiences that improve outcomes for residents, shaping how residents report repairs, book appointments, track progress and engage with services through modern digital channels. About the role: Based in London (Hybrid - flexible): Create exceptional visual design across web and interactive platforms, with a focus on clarity, hierarchy and precision.Design end-to-end customer journeys and digital experiences across Housing Repairs services.Contribute to concept development, solving both business and customer problems and carrying ideas through to beautifully executed outcomes.Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.About you: You will have the following experiences:Significant experience in visual and interactive design, ideally gained within agency, consultancy or large-scale transformation environments.A portfolio demonstrating a high level of design craft, commercial understanding and exceptional attention to detail.Strong understanding of customer-centred design methodologies and service design principles.Local Authority experience is essential.
