This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to deliver timetabled, engaging practical lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE / BTEC) students without needing formal Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Whether your background is in Engineering, Design and Technology, Construction, Performing Arts, Music, or Digital Media, your real-world experience will help inspire pupils, develop their technical skills, and prepare them for post-16 pathways and apprenticeships.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver timetabled, high-energy practical lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.Adapt and implement departmental curriculum plans, ensuring practical workshops and classrooms remain safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.Motivate and engage students of all abilities, fostering enthusiasm for practical and vocational subjects.Maintain clear behaviour expectations in line with the school''s positive behaviour policy.Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback on coursework, portfolio work, and practical tasks.Work collaboratively alongside subject leaders, Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs), and technicians to create an inspiring learning environment.What We ..... full job details .....
