A forward-thinking Alternative Provision in Blackpool is seeking a resilient, empathetic, and proactive Unqualified Teacher for a high-impact 1:1 teaching and intervention role.This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity starting immediately, designed for an educator, cover supervisor, or experienced youth worker who excels at building rapport with vulnerable learners and re-engaging pupils outside mainstream education.The RoleDeliver tailored 1:1 learning sessions, functional skills, and core curriculum support to a pupil disengaged from mainstream schooling.Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that match the pupil''s pace, interests, and individual learning goals.Implement positive behaviour management techniques and proactive de-escalation strategies.Work collaboratively with the SENCO, pastoral team, and external multi-agency services to monitor wellbeing and academic progress.Create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment to rebuild the pupil''s confidence and engagement.Candidate RequirementsProven experience delivering instruction, cover supervision, tuition, or structured 1:1 youth mentoring.Strong background supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ASC, ADHD, or challenging behaviour.Ability to deliver core subjects (English, Maths, and digital literacy) up to KS3/KS4 level without formal QTS.Exceptional patience, emotional resilience, and de-escalation skills.An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered ..... full job details .....
