This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional who thrives on reviewing complex title documentation and ensuring transactions progress smoothly and compliantly. Working as part of a busy and supportive conveyancing department, you will play a vital role in protecting clients'' interests by identifying and resolving potential legal issues before transactions proceed to exchange and completion. The Role As a Conveyancing Title Checker, you will be responsible for reviewing legal titles, analysing property searches and identifying any title defects or risks that may impact a transaction. Key Responsibilities Reviewing and investigating freehold and leasehold titles, Land Registry documents and title deeds Examining local authority, environmental, drainage and water searches, together with other relevant reports Identifying title defects, restrictive covenants, rights of way, easements, boundary disputes and planning issues Raising and reviewing title enquiries and requisitions with sellers'' solicitors Ensuring compliance with UK Finance Mortgage Lenders'' Handbook requirements and lender-specific instructions Working closely with conveyancers, legal assistants and fee earners to support the progression of transactions Maintaining high ..... full job details .....
