The Role

A secondary school in the East Riding of Yorkshire seeks a Technology Teacher from September 2025. The ssuccessful Technology Teacher will be responsible for teaching subject areas such as Product Design and other technology curriculum to pupils in KS3 and KS4. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and proven classroom practitioner who can display a real passion for developing and inspiring the pupils in their care. This is intially a temporary role, set to run until January 2026 in the first instance. There is every possiblity that the successful candidate may be offered a permenant contract.

This secondary school has been graded by Ofsted as Good and is based in a coastal area of the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Requirements

The desired Design Technology Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience in teaching Design Technology to KS3 and GCSE
• Ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons

This successful candidate may be offered this role on a 'temp to perm' basis, this would meant working on supply via Vision For Education for a term before transitioning to contract with the academy.
