Your Mission

As a Design and Technology Teacher, you’ll ignite curiosity and creativity through hands-on projects that blend design thinking, technical skills, and real-world problem-solving. You’ll empower students to explore materials, tools, and technologies while developing essential skills for the future.

What You''ll Do as Design and Technology (DT) Teacher

  • Deliver engaging and practical Design and Technology lessons across key stages.
  • Plan and implement schemes of work aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the Design & Technology department.
  • Encourage innovation, sustainability, and critical thinking.

What You Bring as Design and Technology (DT) Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, tools, and health & safety standards.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
