As a Tax Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:Managing a varied portfolio of clients across personal and corporate tax mattersReviewing tax computations and returns prepared by junior colleaguesLeading on compliance work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all client deliverablesAssisting with advisory assignments such as restructuring, inheritance tax, capital gains, and succession planningLiaising directly with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and provide proactive adviceSupervising, supporting, and mentoring junior staff, contributing to their technical and professional developmentSupporting managers and partners with client meetings and contributing to business development initiativesStaying up to date with tax legislation and sharing insights with the teamThe Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:Be ATT or CTA qualified (or part-qualified with significant experience), or qualified by experienceHave proven practice experience in both corporate and personal taxDemonstrate excellent technical knowledge with strong attention to detailBe confident in reviewing compliance work and supporting advisory assignmentsPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approachShow leadership potential with experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior colleaguesBe proactive, commercially minded, and eager to contribute to the firm’s continued successAbout The Firm
