Payroll Assistant Manager

Overview
Portfolio Payroll are currently partnered with a medium-sized firm of chartered accountants based in Central London. They are looking to hire a Payroll Assistant Manager to support the Payroll Manager in the day to day supervision and guidance of the payroll team. As Payroll Assistant Manager, you will have 4 direct reports and will manage your own portfolio of client payrolls.Responsibilities
Processing end to end client payrolls on a weekly and monthly basisOnboarding of new clientsReviewing the teams payrollsBeing the first point of contact for technical and complex payroll queriesIdentify areas for improvementSupporting the Payroll Manager with project workSupporting the team, training and developmentExperience required
Extensive end to end payroll experienceExperience of processing multi-frequency clients payroll, or inhouse multi-sited payroll with large volumesStrong people management experiencePaycircle experience is desirable, but not essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional
