Tax Advisor/AccountantLocation: Near DorsetJob Type: Full-timeSalary: Competitive, commensurate with experienceWe are seeking an ambitious qualified accountant and/or chartered tax advisor to join our dynamic finance team as a Tax Advisor/Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of tax-focused tasks and to develop into a senior managerial position, overseeing the operations of our office.Day-to-day of the role:Collaborate closely with finance professionals to deliver tax-focused work.Take responsibility for the oversight and development of our Tax Assistant and the implementation of MTD for Income Tax from April 2027.Conduct tax-focused management reviews of all financial information produced, including management accounts, VAT returns, budgets, forecasts, and year-end financial statements.Prepare and review financial information for UK Trusts and assist in the preparation of personal and trust tax returns, computations, and IHT returns for lifetime gifts.Assist in investment planning to utilise available EIS and SEIS reliefs.Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and liaise with tax advisers in various countries to ensure international compliance.Work closely with the Head of Tax on the delivery of our tax compliance and reporting programme.Required Skills and Qualifications:At least three years of relevant experience within a practice or tax environment.A genuine passion for tax work and a proactive, solution-focused approach.Excellent ..... full job details .....
