Whether you''re making your first move from practice or already have experience within industry, this role offers genuine career development and exposure to a wide variety of technical accounting matters.What you''ll be doingAs the Financial Reporting and Tax Accountant, you''ll be involved in a diverse range of responsibilities including:Preparing annual statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures.Assisting with year-end audit activities and liaising with external auditors.Supporting corporation tax computations and tax reporting processes.Managing VAT returns and ensuring ongoing compliance.Assisting with PAYE and employment tax obligations, including annual reporting requirements.Working alongside external tax advisers on technical tax matters.Monitoring changes in accounting standards and tax legislation, assessing the potential impact on the business.Supporting Companies House filing requirements and statutory deadlines.Assisting with regulatory reporting, including Gender Pay Gap reporting and other compliance submissions.Maintaining tax governance documentation, risk registers and internal controls.Identifying ..... full job details .....
