Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with a strong foundation in bare metal infrastructure, automation, performance tuning, and Python scripting. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure and development teams to maintain, optimize, and automate mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

Design, support, manage, and optimize Linux-based trading infrastructure.

Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts using Python and other relevant technologies.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of trading systems.

Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and traders to enhance system performance and reliability.

Implement and manage configuration management and deployment automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or similar).

Ensure security best practices are followed in system configurations and deployments.

Provide research into new technologies and plan their adoption.

Requirements

5+ years of experience.

Strong understanding of Linux systems administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security.

Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and system integration.

Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewall configurations, etc.).

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for automation and efficiency.

Experience in a trading, finance, or high-frequency/low-latency environment is a plus but not required.
