Due to exciting company growth, they are looking for a talented Support Engineer to join the team.What skills you''ll be needing1-2 years of providing technical support for websites in either a hosting provider or digital agency environment.Awareness of common web security risks, secure configuration, access control and patch management.Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, SSL, DNS, and general website performance concepts.Some basic tech skills across some of: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress.Experience with database management and SQL.Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.Working knowledge of Git for version controlExperience using ticketing systems (e.g. Zendesk, Jira or similar).What you''ll be doing The Support Engineer role is primarily to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of client platforms, websites and supporting infrastructure.
