Job Title: Stores Operative Location: Haverhill, Suffolk Salary: 27k - 28k Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break Contract Type: Full time, temp to perm Sector: Manufacturing and Logistics Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is seeking a Stores Operative to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Stores Operative, your duties will include: Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring all goods are processed accurately. Record and maintain stock information within the MRP system, ensuring inventory records remain up to date. Allocate, store and distribute materials to the appropriate departments in line with company procedures. Pick and issue components, consumables and production orders to support manufacturing operations. Prepare, pack and dispatch customer orders securely, producing all relevant shipping documentation. Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the stores area, ensuring a safe and organised working environment. An ideal candidate for the Stores Operative role will have: Previous experience within a stores, goods-in or dispatch environment. Stock control knowledge and experience. Previous stock take experience. Experience working to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
