Site Manager - Kendal

A well-established regional housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across Cumbria and the North West. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a live new build housing development in Burneside, Kendal.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a live housing development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.

Key duties will include:

Managing all site operations from groundwork through to handover
Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
Ensuring health & safety compliance across the development
Monitoring programme and maintaining build schedules
Conducting quality inspections and managing snagging processes
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal project teams
Producing site reports and attending progress meetings

What you''ll need to succeed
Proven experience managing new build housing developments
Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and housebuilding processes
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage programme, quality and health & safety simultaneously
Full UK driving licence
