Site Manager Highways Cumbria Freelance CIS Are you an experienced Highways Site Manager with a background in structures, parapet replacement or VRS looking for your next freelance contract? A leading civil engineering contractor is looking for a Freelance Site Manager to join a highways project in Cumbria, working on parapet replacement works. This is a 4-month freelance contract with an immediate start. The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing 2-3 subcontractor teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. Key responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day highways and structures works Supervising 2-3 site contractors/subcontractor teams Maintaining high standards of health and safety Completing site records, documentation and reporting Managing site activities associated with parapet replacement Coordinating temporary works and ensuring compliance with site procedures Working closely with the project team to maintain programme and quality Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager within highways SMSTS CSCS Safety Critical Medical Experience with structures, parapets or VRS Temporary Works Supervisor experience First Aid qualification desirable Strong health and safety and site record-keeping experience Contract Details Role: Freelance Site Manager Location:, Cumbria Project: Parapet Replacement Rate: CIS Duration: 4 months Shift: Days Start: ..... full job details .....
