Site Engineer

DOWLS site engineer (DOWLS stands for defects and outstanding works) 3 Month contract.-
Our client require an experienced Civils site Engineer with Previous highways experience preferable, ideally major roadworks projects including deep drainage, kerbs, fencing & earthworks

Strong ability in setting out using both GPS & Total Station equipment. Mixture of Leica & Trimble preferable.
Raise and complete quality check sheets
Competent with CAD software and production of As-Builts.
Experience completing quality documentation mainly checksheets and keeping track of work on site to ensure compliance with ITPs.
Maintain an accurate daily diary
Communicate with site foreman and gangers and provide instructions for the works to be completed
Communicate with section engineers and be able to follow the 3 week look ahead program
Good understanding of H&S
Full drivers licence
Experience raising Permit to Dig''s (EUSR lvl 1&2 ideal but relevant candidates will be placed on a -course if not)
