We''re working with a leading contractor delivering infrastructure and highway works, and they''re looking for a Site Agent to join them on a freelance basis with an immediate start. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of on-site operations and play a key role in delivering a high-profile project safely and efficiently.Job RoleAs Site Agent, you''ll support the Project Manager while acting as the on-site lead for civil engineering activities. You''ll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key responsibilities include: Overseeing site operations and coordinating subcontractors and a Sub Agent Ensuring SHEQ standards and safe systems of work are maintained at all times Developing construction programmes, method statements, and phasing plans Managing plant, labour, and material procurement efficiently Supporting cost control, including monthly reporting and compensation events Acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, keeping all parties informed Maintaining accurate site records, including diaries and as-built informationBenefits Freelance opportunity with immediate start Competitive day rate Opportunity to work on infrastructure and highway schemes Strong pipeline of work with a reputable contractorRequirementsEssential: Civil Engineering (or related) qualification CSCS card SMSTS UK/EEC driving licenceDesirable: Experience delivering highway maintenance or ..... full job details .....
