An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent ICT Service Desk Manager to join our client at their head office based in the Ilford area.Working within the ICT Department you will be directly responsible for providing support for existing and emerging ICT services to all employees based at head office and remote sites, including providing technical advise to the business. You will also configure, install and maintain end user computing equipment and services.Other duties and responsibilities:Line management of the ICT Service desk functionHands on technical troubleshooting and resolution of incidentsManagement of ICT Service Desk resources and work allocationDefine and document ICT Service desk and 1st and 2nd Line standard operating proceduresTechnical point of escalation for ICT Service DeskMentoring staffProducing regular written reportsTroubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware/software faultsTest and fix faulty equipment equipment replacing parts where requiredArranging external support where problems cannot be resolved in house To be considered for this role you will need to have:Experience in an IT Service Desk Management roleStrong knowledge of using Microsoft Endpoint configuration Manager to manage and publish operating systems and client application updatesITIL Foundation(required), SDI Service Desk Manager(desirable)Experience in using and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 AppsFull UK Driving Licence as some driving may be required ..... full job details .....
