Service Charge Accountant (Hybrid - 2 days / week from home)Central London £45,000 Cobalt Recruitment is working with a well-established residential property management business seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join their finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property accountant to join a growing organisation managing a diverse residential and mixed-use portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of residential and mixed-use service charge accountsReview, code and approve purchase invoices for payment runsPrepare and maintain service charge budgets, demands and rechargesProduce monthly and quarterly client reporting, including variance analysis and VAT reportingReconcile service charge and ground rent accountsPrepare service charge year-end accounts to Trial Balance stageLiaise with external accountants on year-end account productionManage take-on and handover balances for new and existing instructionsRespond to client, leaseholder and stakeholder queriesSupport credit control and arrears management processesMaintain accurate records within QubeEnsure reporting deadlines, statutory requirements and KPIs are consistently metRequirements:Minimum 3 years'' experience within service charge or property management accountingQube experience essentialExperience preparing service charge accounts to Trial Balance stageStrong working knowledge of service charge accounting principlesIntermediate Excel skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder ..... full job details .....
