Technical Designer – Commercial Interiors

Are you ready to take your technical design expertise to the next level in an environment that genuinely values your growth, well-being, and creativity?
This award-winning design & build firm has built a reputation for delivering inspiring workplaces, and they apply the same level of care to their people as they do to their projects. Join their collaborative, forward-thinking team, and you’ll be supported, challenged, and rewarded as you shape spaces where people do their best work.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • Work–life balance that works for you: 23 days’ holiday (plus 2 charity days), 3 days reserved for Christmas, and an extra day for every year of service (up to 28). On top of that, there’s often a discretionary Christmas shutdown to really switch off.
  • Health & wellbeing at the heart: Access to free weekly on-site fitness classes, corporate discounts at Gymbox & PureGym, Cycle2Work scheme, plus an Employee Assistance Programme for whenever you need it.
  • Security & peace of mind: Enhanced parental and maternity leave, and life cover at 4x your basic salary.
  • Career growth: The chance to help build and mentor a team of Technical Designers while working on some of the most exciting commercial fit-out projects in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be the go-to person for technical design deliverables across a wide range of projects, working alongside a Senior Designer and liaising with site staff to bring ideas to life. From drawing packages to Listed Building applications, snagging to schedules, you’ll have ownership from due diligence right through to completion.
You’ll also play a hands-on role in shaping the future of the team by mentoring junior designers and setting the standard for technical excellence.

What You’ll Bring:
  • 5+ years’ technical design experience in commercial interiors or fit-out.
  • Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills (BIM360 is a plus).
  • Deep understanding of UK building systems, regulations, and construction methods.
  • A detail-driven mindset, with the confidence to solve problems and take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
If you’re looking for a role where you can leave your mark on high-profile projects while working in a culture that puts people first, this is your chance.
