Overview
We are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based at our Stepps, ESD office with hybrid working available. You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and you will be expected to take responsibility for the Commercial Management of Project(s).Responsibilities
Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packagesLiaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control costCollaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are metManage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessaryPreparation and issue of subcontract documentationAssist in the management and performance of subcontractorsManage the preparation and agreement of applications for paymentThe preparation of project cost and value reports, budgets and forecasts.Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staffOther duties

EssentialDegree or equivalentWorking towards or have chartered membership of a recognised institutionExperience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectorsNEC3 ExperienceDesirableExperience of managing and developing an individual or small ..... full job details .....
