Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Utilities and Infrastructure Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team, working across major utilities and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil engineering, utilities, telecoms, power or infrastructure projects to take responsibility for the commercial management of complex projects. The role will involve working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers, operational teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered commercially successfully, safely and within programme. Key Responsibilities Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of infrastructure and utilities projects. Manage projects from contract award through to final account. Prepare, submit and negotiate applications for payment. Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, payments and final accounts. Identify, manage and maximise commercial opportunities. Prepare and agree variations, compensation events and change control. Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and financial performance. Produce accurate monthly CVRs and commercial reports. Manage contractual correspondence and ensure contractual obligations are met. Assist with the preparation and review of project budgets and cost plans.
