Senior Planning Lawyer

I''m currently working with a London Local Authority that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planning Lawyer / Planning & Highways Solicitor on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established legal team and take ownership of a varied planning caseload while providing technical support and mentoring to junior lawyers.

Contract Details:

• Initial 6 months+ and potential rolling arrangement
• -6065 per hour (DOE)
• Ideally 1-2 office days per week initially, reducing thereafter
• Single-stage interview process (45-60 minutes)
• Interviews available this week

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on a broad range of planning law matters
• Drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements
• Highways and development-related agreements
• Planning enforcement work
• Supporting regeneration and master-planning projects
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
