My client, a large, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, near the lively, green metropolitan area of Salford.Essential Criteria

A Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Management, or other relevant disciplineExtensive experience of having worked in a design-based role in a consultancy settingDemonstrable experience of having produced flood risk and drainage strategies, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)Working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (namely S38, S278, S104, etc.)Competent in the use of Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage, and other relevant software packagesA willingness to learn and develop technical skills through hands-on experienceDesirable

Experience of leading a team or projectsStrong technical skills, and an analytical mindsetResponsibilities

Contributing to a range of exciting projects, developing flood risk and drainage strategiesWorking with the wider team to ensure project goals are delivered to the highest standard, within given timeframes and budgetary restrictionsUndertaking the relevant technical analysis using software packagesPreparing and issuing accurate technical information regarding projects, including drawings, calculations, and modelsLiaising with a range of public and private stakeholdersContributing to and carrying out site meetings and inspectionsDeveloping and maintaining client and stakeholder relationsContributing to projects, adhering to industry standards, designated budgets, and agreed timelinesBenefits and How to Apply
