This role is ideal for an experienced ITSM Consultant with a focus on CMDB and SACM alignment.Responsibilities include understanding and managing the CMDB database and tooling, explaining platform capabilities, leading workshops and training, and ensuring robust CI Management processes, including decommissioning legacy systems.Required Experience:Proficiency in IT Asset Management Lifecycle and Configuration Management processes, tool-agnostic and client-focused.Knowledge of CMDB technologies, best practices, and integrations, including auto-discovery tooling.Strong planning and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Project, Visio preferred.Willingness to learn new technologies such as ServiceNow modules, Discovery, Agile, SCCM, JIRA.Experience normalizing data and analyzing CMDB schemas.Ability to perform gap analysis on CI fields and identify redundancies and opportunities for cost savings.Ability to recommend process remediations to align with customer models.Position is permanent, hybrid work model (2-3 days onsite in London or Portsmouth), salary up to £75,000 plus bonus.Services offered by Computappoint Limited are those of an Employment Business and/or Employment Agency in relation to this ..... full job details .....
