Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

Location: Fairfield Residential Home, Oxford

Salary:  £15.17 per hour

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time (to be agreed)

At Fairfield, we believe great care starts with creating a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where our residents and staff can thrive.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play an important role in making that happen. You’ll build meaningful relationships with residents, support their independence and wellbeing, and help create a positive, person-centred environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

You’ll also be an important part of our care team, supporting colleagues and helping to ensure that our high standards of care are maintained. We’re looking for someone who brings empathy, reliability, confidence and a real team spirit to everything they do.

In return, we’ll support you to develop your skills, build your knowledge and grow in confidence, helping you reach your full potential.

If you’re passionate about care, enjoy supporting others, hold a level 2 diploma in care or an equivalent qualification, and are ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.

  • To facilitate a full programme of meaningful occupation for every resident living in the home.
  • To be familiar with and adhere to the current medication policy within the home and administer and manage medication accordingly.
  • To maintain and update knowledge of prescribed medications, their purpose and possible side effects.
