We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Care Assistants to join our diverse and inclusive team, to work on a temporary ad hoc basis for our client at Firethorn.

The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting our residents'' wellbeing, promoting dignity, respect, and independence in a welcoming and supportive environment.

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents, respecting their individual needs and preferences
• Support residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
• Administer medication and maintain accurate care records in accordance with enhanced care standards
• Promote a safe and clean environment by following health and safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care
• Encourage social interaction and engagement through activities and meaningful conversation
• Report any changes in residents'' health or behavior to the nursing team promptly
• Participate in regular training and development opportunities to maintain enhanced care skills

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant preferred
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to upholding the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
• Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work shifts as required
