This role offers the opportunity to lead and influence the design and delivery of high-quality residential care facilities that genuinely impact people''s lives for the better.This position is suited to someone with a deep understanding of the technical and functional aspects of architectural design, from early concept through to site delivery. Working closely with architects, consultants, and clients, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, mentoring junior staff, and helping to implement and evolve BIM strategies and software usage. Lead and manage architectural teams across various RIBA stages (0-7)Oversee multiple live projects on site, ensuring delivery to programme and quality standardsMentor and develop junior team membersAttend and contribute to client meetings and brief developmentEvaluate environmental, legal, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate with statutory authorities and produce planning/building regulations submissionsPrepare tender packages and risk assessmentsSupport BIM strategy rollout and software developmentPromote technical excellence, including drawing review and quality controlLead site visits, construction liaison and ongoing performance appraisalsIdeal Candidate
Substantial years'' experience in a UK architectural practice, with client-facing responsibilitiesProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and ideally NBS Specification ManagerChartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) preferredDeep understanding of building regulations, BREEAM, CDM, and robust detailsStrong technical design and detailing capabilityExcellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skillsOrganised, proactive, and able to manage competing project demandsStrong understanding of the care sector or willingness to specialiseConfident mentoring junior team members and managing team resourcesFamiliarity with the full project lifecycle and construction processesPassionate about using architecture to improve lives through well-considered, functional ..... full job details .....
