Junior Architectural Technologist

Outstanding opportunity for a Junior level Architectural Technologist to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy for encompassing architecture, surveying and project management within various sectors including residential, healthcare, educational, industrial and commercial amongst others., Based in their office in the South East region of London

Due to further growth plans within the office, the practice are seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist to join their South East team on a full time permanent basis. The practice utilises AutoCAD software so proficiency with the software is essential, to work across the technical detailing and later RIBA stages.You''ll gain experience and exposure in various project stages, from inception and feasibility through to detailed design, statutory approvals, and technical drawing production.

The ideal Junior Architectural Technologist for this role will be able to demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Self-motivated and driven.Commercial awareness and willingness to take on varied responsibilities

Required qualifications and experience of the Junior Architectural Technologist as follows:A UK degree qualification in Architectural Technology1 years + experience working within Architectural practice or in a CAD Technician capacitySoftware proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)Understanding of construction processes, design principles and ability to produce high quality 2D CAD drawings
